For the best dictation accuracy, we recommend using the built-in microphone on your iPhone or iPad.
Our testing has consistently shown that iPhone and iPad microphones outperform most Bluetooth microphones for medical dictation.
Using AirPods or a Bluetooth Headset
You can use AirPods or another Bluetooth headset for dictation.
To allow an external microphone:
Open Settings in Mobius Conveyor.
Select Dictation Settings.
Turn Prefer Device Microphone Off.
Selecting a Bluetooth Microphone
When Prefer Device Microphone is turned off and a Bluetooth microphone is connected to your iPhone or iPad, a Bluetooth icon will appear next to the microphone button on the Dictation screen. To select your microphone:
Tap the Bluetooth icon next to the microphone button.
Choose either the iPhone/iPad Microphone or your connected Bluetooth microphone.
Note: The Bluetooth icon is only displayed when a Bluetooth microphone is paired and connected to your device.
