Overview:
Individual products can be configured for stock countdown, where the stock quantity for a product is displayed on the POS terminal product button. The stock quantity is display in the bottom right hand corner of the button.
Please note that the stock countdown works independantly from the back office stock figure.
Stock Countdown - Back Office Setup:
To enable the stock countdown functionality for a specific product in your back office:
Navigate to Products > Product Details Programming > Terminal Flags Tab
You can now set the following Stock Controk (EPOS side only) flags:
Maintain Stock
Error when minimum reached?
Inhibit sales when below minimum stock?
Display stock quantity on keyboard?
Make sure you tick the Maintain Stock and Display stock quantity on keyboard - the other two are optional.
Stock Countdown - Adding Stock Qty on POS:
The stock quantity needs to be added via the actual POS terminal. Make a note of the PLU numbers that you want to add a stock quantity for:
Navigate to Home Menu > Programming
Sign in with your PIN code
Select 1. PRICES > 4. Add PLU Stock > Enter the PLU number > Enter stock qty
Note:
If your clerk does not have access to 1.PRICES then login to the back office and check:
Clerks > Clerk Programming Details > Allowed Modes > Make sure Program 1 is Ticked.
