If you want to prompt for product options or cooking instructions when a product is sold, you must setup List PLU's (which contain the product options) and then link the list PLU's to the main product.
Products sold online have a separate set of list PLU Links:
POS Menu: Product Options Window tab - List Box Links 1-6
Online Menu: Products Webshop Options tab - Web List Link 1-6
This means that the product option selection for the online menu can be different to the POS.
For each of the 6 Web List Links, there are the following settings:
Web List Link Drop Down:
This drop down enables you to select a specific LIST PLU
Min & Max Fields:
If both are left empty then the customer can only select one item from the List PLU but this is NOT mandatory.
If both are set to 1 then the customer is forced to select one item from the List PLU.
You can vary the Min and Max quantity as required.
Product Selection Type:
One of the 3 Product Selection Types (affect the user interface) must be selected:
Quantity Select: This enables multiple quantities of the same item to be selected.
Multi Select: This enables multiple items to be selected but NOT multiple quantities of the same item.
Single Select: Only 1 item can be selected.
Uses 3rd @ Price?
Ticking this option forces the product price for all the items in the Web List to be sold at the 3rd @ Price.
For example, you could sell the products at zero price if they were inclusive options but sold as priced items on the menu.
