When a product is sold on the EPoS terminal it's possible to configure the system to prompt the user to select additional product options and choices - these are referred to as List PLU's.
Up to six different lists (List PLU's) of predefined products can be displayed. For example, when you sell a steak the system could prompt for how well the steak should be cooked and then prompt for the choice of side dish.
Step 1: List PLU Setup
Create all the products that you want to include in your list PLU's
Click Programming - List PLU's
Click on a red list PLU number that is not being used
Enter the name for the list PLU eg Steak Cooking
Now add the products you want to include via the List Box PLU Links
You can search for the product via the descriptor field
If you know the PLU number then you can enter it in the PLU field
List PLU Fields
Field | Description |
Minimum | The user can be forced to select a minimum qty of products from the list PLU. |
Windows stays down until esc? | Ticked - the list PLU disappears after 1 selection. Unticked - the list PLU remains until the esc button is pressed. |
Maximum | This option is only available if the Window stays down until esc is set. The user can be forced to select a maximum qty of products from the list PLU. |
Force zero price? | Ticked - the price of all the products in the List PLU is set to zero eg used for free options. |
Price Shift | The price of all the products in the List PLU can be set to sell at the 1st@Price, 2nd@Price,3rd@Price or the 4th@Price. |
Price Level | The price of all the products in the List PLU can be set to sell at a specific Price Level |
You can now either configured a product so that the List PLU automatically pops up as an option OR allocate the List PLU directly to a button on an EPoS screen:
Step 2: Link the List PLU to a product
Select the product that requires the List PLU options:
Click Programming > Products > PLU Details
Click the Options Windows tab
Click the drop down for List Box Link 1
Select the LIST PLU you have reated from the drop down list
Repeat as required using List Box Link 2 etc if required
