Part One: Resource Hub Steps
Step 1: In the Resource Hub, navigate to “Courses.” Select grade level.
Step 2: Click the unit/module name to expand the menu view. Click the section/topic title to open it that section/topic.
Step 3: On the module page, click “Import” in the upper right corner.
Step 4: Click “Begin Import Process”
Step 5: Default import setup settings will be listed. Click “Edit preferences” to change which item(s) you wish to import. Otherwise, click “Continue to Review.”
Step 6: Scroll to review import details. Click “Continue to Download” at the bottom of the page.
Step 7: Content is now ready to download. Click “Download .imscc File.” This file will be imported into Canvas after logging in.
Part Two: Importing Content to Canvas
Step 1: Log in. Open Canvas and log into your account. Navigate to the course where you want to import content.
Step 2: : Click “Settings” in the course navigation menu on the left.
Step 3: Import course content. Click “Import course content” on the right side of the page.
Step 4: Select content type. Choose “Common Cartridge 1.x Package” from the dropdown.
Step 5: Upload file. Click “Choose file” and select your named file. It should be named something like, “IM-Grade 3-canvas-export.imscc” (or something similar). The file name will appear under the file upload box.
Step 6: Select content. Choose “All content,” or select specific items to import.
Step 7: Start import. Click “Import” and wait for the import to complete.
Troubleshooting:
Can't find “Import Content” in Canvas?
Go to Course Settings -> Import Course Content. You need teacher or admin permissions.

Ensure stable internet connection and try downloading the file again.
