Monotype Fonts’ License dashboard is designed to help you view and manage the production fonts used within your organization. It is an intuitive feature that enables you to view, monitor, review, track, and report your production font usage.

How to use the License dashboard?

Go to Manage > Font licensing to open the license dashboard.

Monotype Fonts’ License dashboard is designed to help you view and manage the production fonts used within your organization. It is an intuitive feature that enables you to view, monitor, review, track, and report your production font usage.

You can use the font license dashboard to:

Steps to follow

View contract details

Click Contract details to view the details (like Customer name, Primary contact name, primary contact email address, Contract start date, and contract end date) mentioned in your contract with Monotype.

Add new production font

  1. Click New production font.

  2. Find the font that you want to add.

  3. Click on the font family, font, or family name.

    You can also search for a font that you want to add as a production font.

  4. Select the font style(s) that you want to add.

  5. Click on icon.

  6. Click Mark as production. A confirmation message displays.

  7. Click Done to close the message or Manage production fonts to open the Confirmed production fonts tab.

View all confirmed production fonts

Confirmed production fonts section shows the number of production fonts used within your organization. It also includes all the fonts approved and submitted by you out of the total available production fonts (based on your subscription/contract) in this quarter of the current year.

Click View all confirmed production fonts to open the Confirmed production fonts tab. Here you can view and manage the list of production fonts used in this quarter.

View fonts for review

Fonts explored section shows the font syncs and downloads that happened in this quarter along with the total number of fonts synced or downloaded over the contract.

Unique font styles explored section shows the number of unique font styles synced or downloaded by you in this quarter and over the contract.

Click View fonts for review to open the Fonts for review tab. It shows all the fonts that are synced, downloaded, or added into web project in this quarter.

On this page, you can click Export list to download this list on your system or search for a specific font style using the Search for styles field.

Select the font or fonts and click Deny or Accept to deny or accept the usage of a particular font style or more than one font style in bulk.

View or download quarterly reports

All the quarterly production font usage reports for the selected year are available in the Quarterly reports section.

You can select the year from the year dropdown to view the quarterly reports in the selected year.

Click Export report from the Action column to export and download the selected report or Download all reports to download all quarterly reports for the selected year.

Recommended production fonts

This section displays the list of the recommended production fonts that you can review, select, and deny (or accept).

Click View all fonts for review to open the Fonts for review tab.
