What are Confirmed production fonts?

Confirmed production fonts are those fonts that you add, mark, name, accept and report as the fonts used in production after reviewing all the possible production fonts used within your organization.

You can view this final list of confirmed production fonts on the Confirmed production fonts page. Use any of the following steps to open this page:

  • Go to Manage > Font licensing > Confirmed production fonts

  • Click View all confirmed production fonts in the Confirmed production fonts section of the License dashboard.

  • While adding a new production font

  • While submitting your quarterly utilization report

This page includes the following options:

And once the report is submitted for that quarter, that font will be removed from the Confirmed production fonts list.

How to add a new production font?

You can add a new production font from any of the following pages:

  • Click Manage > Font licensing > New production font

  • Click Browse > Fonts > Mark as production to add a font at the style level from License Management, or mark/unmark an entire family using the More options (kebab) menu. When a family is marked, all styles in that family are treated as production and appear in Confirmed production fonts page with existing metadata and filters.

Note: The Mark as production option is available to admin/limited admin users only and is hidden to avoid any accidental clicks that may lead to an unintentional increase in your production font count.

  • You can also add a production font from My library, WhatTheFont page, font page, and family pages by clicking on the icon.

Once you add a new production font, you will get a confirmation message.

Click Mark as production to confirm your request.

Click Done to complete this action or Manage production font to open the Confirmed production fonts page from where you can manage your production fonts.

It is easy to identify a newly added production font with a New label.

How can I mark/unmark a font family for production?

You can mark/unmark a font family for production if you are an admin/limited admin (or have equivalent permissions). Creatives/non‑admins can continue to request for production at the family or style level for admin review.

Mark/unmark a family for production from Browse and My Library (font list view) via the family row’s More options (kebab) menu. License Management reflects the changes automatically.

Once marked for production, all styles in that family are treated as production fonts and appear with the same metadata and filters (like Source, Accepted by, Tier, and Date).

Note: Marking/unmarking fonts at family level won’t impact the named fonts in your contract. Family‑level marking only toggles production status and the contract “named” status remains visible through existing Tier filter.

How to export the list of fonts marked as Production Fonts?

Admin users can export the list of production-marked fonts from Confirmed production fonts to support validation and internal workflows before submitting the quarterly reports.

This feature improves collaboration across teams, ensure data accuracy, and reduce manual errors. By exporting production-marked fonts, admins can streamline reporting, simplify compliance checks, and maintain greater efficiency in their review processes.
