Quotes and reservations can now have an Assigned Member, so your team can see who owns each request, update that owner, and filter dispatch by assignment.
Assigned-member support runs across your workflows, including request creation, request detail views, reservation summaries, the dispatch grid, and dispatch filtering. This makes it easy to know who is responsible for a booking and to organize work across your team.
How It Works
Automatic assignment: When a team member creates a new quote or reservation, the Assigned Member defaults to whoever created the request.
Choose a different owner: During request creation, you can assign the quote or reservation to another team member instead.
Leave it open: You can also set a request to Unassigned if no owner is needed yet.
Update anytime: You can change the Assigned Member from the request detail view as ownership changes.
When creating a new quote or reservation, the Assigned Member field defaults to you — or you can select any team member or leave it Unassigned.
On the request detail view, the Assigned Member is shown with a quick-edit button to update ownership at any time.
Clicking the edit button opens the Replace Assigned Member dialog where you can select any team member or set the request to Unassigned.
Filtering Dispatch by Assignment
The Assigned Member appears in the dispatch grid, and you can filter dispatch by assignment. This makes it simple to focus on the trips owned by a specific team member, or to review everything that is still unassigned.
Use the Filter Trips drawer in dispatch to filter by Me, a specific team member, Unassigned, or All.
Good to Know
Existing reservations are covered: Past reservations are backfilled one time, setting the Assigned Member to the person who originally created the request.
Visible across flows: You will see the Assigned Member on request creation, request detail views, reservation summaries, and the dispatch grid.
