Why Is My Payment Pending?

If your payment is marked as pending, it means we’re still verifying whether the transaction was successful. This usually happens when there is a network delay that prevents us from immediately confirming the payment status.

Why Does This Happen?

When you make a payment, Moreta processes it through our payment network. In rare cases, if the network takes longer than 30 seconds to respond, the system cannot immediately determine if the transaction was successful. To ensure accuracy, we:

  • Deduct the payment amount from your Moreta balance.

  • Mark the transaction as pending while we await confirmation.

  • Review the payment status in the settlement report the following business day.

What Happens Next?

Once we receive the settlement report, we take one of the following actions:

  • If the payment was successful, we update the status to completed, and no further action is needed.

  • If the payment was unsuccessful, we automatically refund the full amount to your Moreta balance within one business day.

What Should I Do?

No action is required on your part. You can check your transaction history for updates, and we’ll notify you once the payment status is confirmed. If you have any concerns or don’t see a resolution within one business day, feel free to contact our support team.
