Outstanding Cash

Updated over 2 weeks ago

What is Outstanding Cash?

Outstanding Cash refers to money you owe to Moreta. This typically happens if you’ve made a transaction or spent funds before your wallet balance was sufficient to cover it.

Why do I have outstanding cash?

Outstanding cash occurs when your balance is temporarily insufficient to cover a payment or transaction, but Moreta still processed the transaction. To keep your account in good standing, you'll need to deposit enough funds to cover the owed amount.

How can I settle outstanding cash?

To settle your outstanding balance, simply:

  1. Go to the Add money section in your Moreta app.

  2. Make a deposit to cover the outstanding amount.

Once the deposit is made, the outstanding cash will be cleared, and your account will be updated.

What happens if I don’t settle it?

If the outstanding balance is not settled within a reasonable time frame, further actions may be taken, including possible restrictions on your account or escalated fees.

It’s best to clear any outstanding amounts as soon as possible to avoid any disruptions to your Moreta wallet.

How can I track outstanding cash?

You can easily track your outstanding cash in the Cash summary section of the Moreta app. Any amount that is due will be clearly marked, so you’ll know exactly what needs to be paid.
