Overview
The WooCommerce integration enables Mortar DS to connect directly with your online store, syncing sales, customer, and product data in near real time.
By linking your WooCommerce platform with Mortar DS, you can unify fragmented data sources, eliminate manual data handling, and unlock powerful insights to increase sales and revenue.
This integration works using your Store Name, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret, allowing Mortar DS to securely access and update your e-commerce data. Once connected, data flows continuously into your Mortar dashboard, providing a single, clean source of truth for customer and sales performance.
Mortar DS automatically consolidates and cleans the data by removing duplicates and filling in missing values — resulting in accurate analytics, improved productivity, and smarter marketing strategy planning.
How to Connect WooCommerce to Mortar DS
Step 1: Access the WooCommerce Integration
1. In your Mortar DS dashboard, navigate to the Integrations page.
2. Click WooCommerce to open the integration setup panel.
3. Click Connect to begin the setup process.
Step 2: Enter Your WooCommerce Credentials
After clicking Connect, a pop-up window will appear requesting your Shop Name, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret.
Step 3: Generate Your WooCommerce API Keys
To create and retrieve the required API credentials:
1. Log in to your WordPress Admin account.
2. In the left menu, click WooCommerce → Settings.
3. Navigate to the Advanced tab.
4. Click REST API → Add Key.
5. Enter all values necessary
6. Click Generate API Key — note that this can only be done once.
7. Copy both the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.
Step 4: Complete the Integration in Mortar DS
1. Return to your Mortar DS WooCommerce Integration window.
2. Enter the following details:
o Shop Name: Your WooCommerce store name or domain (visible at the top of your WordPress admin).
o Consumer Key: Paste the key generated in WooCommerce.
o Consumer Secret: Paste the secret generated in WooCommerce.
3. Click Submit to finalise the connection.
Mortar DS will now validate your credentials and establish a secure connection to your store.
Step 5: Verify the Connection
Once successfully connected, the WooCommerce icon on your Mortar DS integrations page will display a green box in the upper-right corner — confirming that the integration is active.

Your WooCommerce store is now integrated with Mortar DS.
