The Klaviyo integration allows Mortar DS to seamlessly connect with your email and SMS marketing platform, giving you a comprehensive and unified view of your customer engagement data.
By integrating Klaviyo with Mortar DS, you can combine behavioral insights, campaign metrics, and customer data into a single dashboard. This consolidated view helps you analyse audience performance, personalise campaigns, and make data-driven marketing decisions.
Mortar connects to Klaviyo securely through Airbyte as a data sub processor. Your data is transferred via encrypted channels, and access is limited strictly to you and authorised team members.
How to Connect Klaviyo to Mortar DS
Step 1: Access the Klaviyo Integration
1. In your Mortar DS dashboard, go to the Integrations page.
2. Click Klaviyo to open the integration setup panel.
3. Click Connect to begin the connection process.
Step 2: Enter Your Klaviyo API Key
After clicking Connect, a setup window will appear requesting your Private API Key.
This key securely links your Klaviyo account to Mortar DS for data transfer and synchronisation.
Step 3: Retrieve Your Klaviyo API Key
To generate and retrieve your Klaviyo API Key:
1. Log in to your Klaviyo Account.
2. In the top-right corner, click your Profile Name and select Settings.
3. Go to Account → Settings → API Keys.
4. Click Create Private API Key.
5. Set the key to Full Access to ensure all relevant data can sync.
6. Copy the generated Private API Key.
Return to your Mortar DS dashboard and paste the key into the Klaviyo Integration window.
Click Connect to complete the setup.
Step 4: Data Synchronisation
Once connected, Mortar DS will begin syncing your Klaviyo data automatically in near real time.
The initial synchronisation may take several hours depending on the size and availability of your data.
After the first sync, your Klaviyo data will continue updating automatically, ensuring that your Mortar dashboard always reflects the most current information.
Data consolidation removes duplicates and fills missing fields, enabling more accurate insights and analysis.
Step 5: Verify the Connection
Once your Klaviyo account is successfully connected, the Klaviyo icon on your Mortar DS integrations page will display a green box in the upper-right corner, confirming that the integration is active.
