Here are filters available on the HMDA data dashboard, which allow you to slice and dice the data to answer your questions.

Filter your reports by geography. See just the specific markets you care about.

Narrow your data down to just certain census tracts that meet the filter criteria:

Filter the data by a single year or by the last several years to either isolate a year or compare trends over time.

Look at data for all loans, or focus on categories of loans:

Look at all loan types or narrow the data down to the following single categories:

Or use combined categories:

Filter by occupancy type, including:

View all loans or filter loans by lien type:

To separate out multi-unit properties, you can filter by:

Segment data by the lenders' categories:

View loan data for a specific lender or a combination of multiple lenders.

Race/Ethnicity

Filter loans to see just minority borrowers or certain race/ethnicity borrower segments:

Or view all minority segments (all of the above except Non-Hispanic White) with the "Minority" filter.
