Lender Profile Dashboard

See mortgage data for individual lenders on the Lender Profile Dashboard.

This is a guide on how to use the Lender Profiles tool in Mortgage Market Smart.

1. Open and Navigate the Lender Profiles Tile

  • From the login welcome screen, click the Profiles tile

  • Once it loads, click the three lines next to the Market Smart icon to create more real estate on the screen

  • Click on Lender Profile

2. Select Markets, Time Periods, and Demographic Filters for Your Lender Analysis

  • Click on the lender profile option

  • Choose your market (example: Atlanta)

  • Select your time period

  • You can narrow by:

    • Specific counties

    • Low-to-moderate income (LMI) census tracts

    • Majority minority census tracts

    • Banks, credit unions, or IMBs

3. View and Compare Top Lenders Using the Lender Selector Table

  • Go to the lender selector to see the top lenders in your chosen market and time period

  • View data such as:

    • Number of loans, loan share, loan rank

    • Volume, volume share, volume rank

    • Average loan size

  • Scroll right to see:

    • Distribution across majority minority census tracts

    • Distribution across LMI and CRA census tracts

    • Purchase vs. Refi vs. Equity breakdown (units and dollars)

    • Government vs. conventional loan mix

    • Number of loan officers, brokers, listing agents, and buyer agents

4. Export Lender Performance Data to Excel for Reporting and Analysis

  • Click the share button to export

  • Choose Excel for the best format

  • After opening, go to File → Save As, and rename the file with:

    • Market (e.g., Atlanta)

    • Year-to-date timeline

    • Clear description of what the report contains

5. Identify and Review Relationship Networks for a Selected Lender

  • Use the Select Lender of Interest dropdown

  • Example: choose Delta Community Credit Union, then click Apply

  • Go to the Relationships tab to see:

    • Loan officers

    • Listing agents

    • Buyer agents

    • Builders associated with that lender

6. Access and Save Loan-Level Details for Deeper Market Evaluation

  • Go to Loans Export to view all transactions

  • Save loan-level data for deeper analysis—useful for identifying potential candidates for refi

7. Apply Global Filters to Narrow Your Lender or Loan Search Results

  • Apply any top global filters such as LMI

  • Example: Selecting LMI shows 284 transactions in LMI census tracts

  • You can remove filters anytime using the filter slash button to return to the main top lender table

8. Reset Filters and Return to the Main Top Lenders Table

  • Clear the selected lender or filters to get back to the original top lenders list

Use Cases

There are a lot of ways to use this dashboard, including:

  • Viewing origination data for your organization

  • Viewing origination data for competitor lenders

  • Finding competing LOs who perform well in your target segments as a hiring strategy

  • Discovering active and successful real estate partners in your markets or segments

  • Identifying lender performance trends over time

  • Understanding a lender's diverse lending metrics

  • And more

Profile Filters

Here are the global filters available on the Lender Profile Dashboard. Use these filters to narrow down the data to find exactly what you're looking for. Isolate data by geography, loan type, year, transaction purpose, and more.

Geography

Filter your reports by geography. See just the specific markets you care about.

  • State

  • MSA/CBSA

  • County

Census Tract Type

Narrow your data down to just certain census tracts that meet the filter criteria:

  • CRA

  • LMI

  • MBCT

  • MHCT

  • MBHCT

  • MMCT

Time Period

Filter the data by a single year or by the last several years to either isolate a year or compare trends over time.

Transaction Type

Look at data for all loans, or focus on categories of loans:

  • Purchase

  • Refi

  • Purchase + Refi

  • Equity

Loan Type

Look at all loan types or narrow the data down to the following:

  • Conforming

  • Jumbo

  • FHA

  • VA

  • Other

Property Type

Focus on residential loans or expand the data to view non-residential as well.

Lender Type

Segment data by the lenders' categories:

  • Bank

  • Credit Union

  • IMB
