To begin, click on the "Originations by Location" tile on your dashboard.

This will open a pop-up window where you can select the geography for which you would like to see the property-level transactions. When selecting the geography, it's advisable to choose a smaller Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) for demonstration purposes. Once you have made your selection, click "Save."

Next, you need to choose the date range. After clicking "Refresh," the data will load. If there is no data available, you may need to try a different location.

As you scroll down the screen, you will find all the transactions listed. You can see the property address, loan officer, lender, date, transaction type, and loan type for each transaction. By default, the view displays the top 25 transactions, but you can load the next 25 or even the next 250 if desired.

To filter the data further, you can use toggles. For example, you can check how many low-to-moderate-income (LMI) loans were present or how many were in majority-minority census tracts (MMCTs).

Clicking back on "All" will revert to the original transactions. Drop-down menus are also available to focus on specific details, such as FHA loans or transaction types like purchase, refinance, or equity.

If you want to export the data for further analysis, you can do so by selecting "Export to Excel." Choose a name for the exported file and specify the location where you want to save it. Click "Export," and the file will be saved. You can open it in Excel to manipulate the data according to your preferences.

Please note that the exported file contains comprehensive loan-level information, including loan and lender details, mortgage amounts, transaction types, additional categories, census tract information, agent names, contact information, and real estate listing company names. Keep in mind that the completeness of this information depends on the agents themselves.

Once you have exported the data or completed your analysis, you can close the file and return to the application. The "Originations by Location" tile is a valuable tool when you need a data dump and want the flexibility to manipulate the information on your own.
