We will discuss how you can quickly change locations on your map if you already have one built. This feature is known as the bulk edit feature and can be very convenient.
To get started, go to your dashboard and locate your existing map in the folders.
Simply click on the names to load the map you've previously created.
Before making any changes, it's important to save the map with the new market name. Click on "Save As" in the upper right corner, and give the map a new name. This ensures that the map name corresponds to its contents.
Now, you can proceed with the bulk edit. Click on the "Locations Bulk Edit" button at the top of the list of layers and select the new market. The platform will prompt you to choose which layers you want to apply to San Francisco. You can choose to apply all of the existing layers.
After making your selection, click on "Save." As you do so, you'll notice each layer disappearing from Atlanta, indicating that it's now assigned to San Francisco. If you zoom out, you'll see that the map has shifted to the new market.
To rename a specific layer attached to the city or market, click on the down arrow or carrot icon and select "Rename." Once you've renamed it, hit "Save."
Now, all the layers, including places of worship, listings, Hispanic forecast, African-American forecast, and all borrower forecast, will be present on the map for the new location.
That's how you can use the locations bulk edit button to quickly change locations on your existing map.
