Locking and Unlocking Projects in Mortgage MarketSmart

In this video, we cover how to control project visibility and editing access, as well as how to lock and unlock projects in Mortgage MarketSmart.

On the Dashboard, click the Start a Project

If you notice that the project is un-saved, click Add Layer and Select your preferred layer (In this case, Forecast, Mortgage, and Demographic Data).

In the next step, fill out the empty field on the window and select your preferred location. After completing the field, click on Save to proceed.

After adding your layer, the platform will now retrieve the data on your layer.

When the platform is finished retrieving the data, Click on Save to save your project

Rename your Project and check the Lock Project checkbox on the window and choose your preferred folder destination and Click Save.

To locate your saved project go to Folders and find the project or map that you just saved

When you open and retrieve your saved project, it will ask you to save your project again.

(Note: If you choose to lock your project you must need to rename the project to be able to save it)

To unlock your Project, Go to Folders, Locate the project and Click the 3 Dots and Select Unlock. (Note: Only the creator can Unlock the project)
