Managing Multiple Contacts for Each Customer

Our system now accommodates the storage of multiple phone numbers, mobile numbers, and email addresses for each customer. This streamlines the management of comprehensive contact information, facilitating communication via customers' preferred channels.

Adding Multiple Contacts

To update a customer's contact details:

  1. Navigate to the Search > Customers section within the system.

  2. Choose a customer from the provided list to access their record.

  3. Click on the Contact Info button (i) situated at the bottom left corner of the window.

In the pop-up window (ii), users will find options to add, modify, or remove multiple contact details associated with the selected customer.

Utilizing Multiple Contacts

When sending an SMS or email communication, users can now select from multiple contact details associated with a customer account. This flexibility enables the choice of preferred contact information for message delivery. Additionally, these contact numbers can be chosen within the SMS manager interface.

Limitations

Certain functionalities are tailored to utilize primary contact details exclusively:

  • Communication History: Defaulting to the primary contact number, this feature currently does not offer the option to send messages to alternative contacts.

  • Reminders: While configuring reminders, only primary contact information is available for selection; alternative contacts default to the primary contact details.
