To access the Consent Management window, navigate to “Messaging > Communication Consent”. This window features a detailed grid showcasing consent statuses for all customers, alongside an export function for extracting filtered data suitable for use with marketing platforms like Mailchimp.

Filtering the Consent Management Grid

The grid allows for both general and granular searches:

  • General Search: Use the Search Bar at the top to search for matches in fields such as Customer Name, Reference, Email Address, and Mobile Number.

  • Granular Search: Use the filter options on the left-hand side to narrow down your customer base based on specific criteria, such as company affiliation or customer type.

In addition to customer filters, refine your search by Consent status and Booking Date, Type, and Quantity. Consent filters enable identification of customers with valid or invalid consent for specific dates or communication methods. Booking filters facilitate selection based on bookings within certain date ranges, booking types, or quantities.

After applying filters, you can export your dataset to a spreadsheet for external use with other applications. Refer to the article “Export a spreadsheet of customers with consent” for detailed instructions on exporting from the Consent Management window.

Understanding Grid Data

The grid on the right displays filtered results, listing customers matching your criteria alongside an overview of their consent status for each communication method (SMS, Email, Phone) and type (Reminders, Marketing).

  • Green cells: Indicate valid consent for the respective communication method.

  • Red cells: Denote lack of consent (or revoked/expired consent).

  • Amber cells: Signal consent validity approaching expiration. The default threshold for amber display is within 12 weeks, adjustable via the “Config” option in the top-right corner of the grid.

The “Messages” column showcases the number of queued messages for each customer, including those requiring consent.

Managing Individual Customers

Individual customer consent management is facilitated within the filtered consent grid:

  • Add Consent: Select a customer row and click “Add Consent” in the grid toolbar to add consent.

  • Consent History: Double-click on a customer row to view their consent history, enabling addition or revocation of consent as needed. This action opens the Communication Consent tab on the Add/Edit Customer window, displaying a comprehensive record of all consent items for that customer.
