Quickly search for any vehicle and access a wealth of information related to it.

When you’re moving vehicles in and out of your garage quickly, the last thing you want is to dig through old Haynes manuals or rely on non-manufacturer-specific service schedules.

Below, I'll show you how to quickly search for any vehicle and access some of the most comprehensive technical data available.

Search for your first vehicle:

You can access technical data in two ways within VGM: through the Search menu or from a Jobsheet for repair times (refer to "Job Times, Technical Data, and Jobsheets" for further information on repair times). For now, let's access it by clicking the 'Search' menu on the top left, then select 'Technical Data'. This will take you to the main technical data screen. Once here, enter the vehicle registration into the registration field in the top left and click 'Search'.

As long as you have technical data credits, VGM will perform a lookup against the VRM and populate the drop-down menu next to 'Subjects' with all available categories of data.

Note: If, for some reason, we can't return any data regarding the vehicle (e.g., if the registration doesn't exist), then no credit is used.

Once a credit has been used, you have approximately 24 hours to access all this information without using an additional credit.

Select the subject you wish to explore, and it will populate the left-hand area. From here, you can start selecting different items until you find the information you need.

Note: Some items have a '+' next to them. Clicking the '+' will reveal an additional level of categories.

Now, you're free to browse through all the data you may need. There are convenient print buttons next to individual images so you can create hard copies to take into the workshop.
