Adding and Managing Special Offers in the Online Booking System
Some versions of our Online Booking System support the use of Special Offers, allowing you to provide combined services (e.g., an MOT Test with a Full Service) for online booking. Here's how you can add, edit, and delete special offers:
Adding a New Special Offer
Click on the “Config” button in the top menu. Select “Special Offers” from the drop-down menu that appears.
In the Special Offers window, click on the “New” button above the grid to open the “Add / Edit Special Offer” window.
The “Add / Edit Special Offer” window contains four tabs:
General:
Name: Enter the name of the special offer.
Description: Provide a description of the special offer.
Sort Order: Set the sort order for how the offer should appear in the list.
Active State: Tick the checkbox to make the special offer active.
Slot Types:
Pricing:
Discount Type: Choose the type of discount.
Fixed Amount: The set amount you'd like to charge
Fixed Discount: The amount you would like discounted off the joint price of the slots
Percentage Discount: The percentage you would like discounted off the joint price of the slots
Discount Value: Enter the value of the discount.
Web:
Once you have completed all required fields, click “Save and Close”.
If all the required fields are filled out correctly, the special offer will be saved and displayed in the Special Offers grid. If any required fields are missing or invalid, an alert will appear indicating which fields need correction.
Editing a Special Offer
Double-click on a special offer in the grid, or select the offer and click the “Edit” button.
Update any of the details in the “Edit Special Offer” window as needed.
Click “Save and Close” to apply the changes.
