Subscribers to our Haynes Technical Data add-on can access repair times and create labour rates based on these times. This guide explains how to access and apply repair times efficiently.

Accessing Repair Times

You can access repair times from the following locations:

  1. Technical Data (Main Menu)

  2. Vehicle Technical Data Tab (Available in Jobsheets, Invoices, and Quotations)

    • You may need to add this tab using the "Configure Tabs" option.

  3. "Add Repair Times" Button (Available in Sales Invoices, Sales Quotations, and Jobsheets)

Each of these options will take you to the Repair Times Page, where you can browse or search for specific repair times.

Searching for Repair Times

To quickly find the repair time you need, follow these steps:

  1. Click "Select a Search Subject" and choose a category (e.g., Engine).

  2. Enter a relevant search term.

  3. A list of matching repair times will appear based on your search criteria.

Adding Repair Times to Documents

When accessing repair times via "Add Repair Times" from Sales Invoices, Sales Quotations, or Jobsheets, additional options allow you to build multiple repair times before adding them to a document.

  1. Navigate through repair time categories.

  2. Preview labour costs by selecting a different labour rate in the top right.

  3. Click "Add" next to any repair time you want to include.

    • Added repair times will appear in the lower section, where you can adjust details as needed.

  4. When ready, click "Add Work Items" to confirm.
