Overview
No connection? No problem. Motics keeps recording even when your internet drops. Sessions are stored locally and upload automatically once you’re back online.
1. Recording Offline
Start a session as normal.
An Offline indicator appears in the top bar if the connection is lost.
You can continue recording as long as your browser tab stays open.
2. Sync When You Reconnect
As soon as your connection returns, Motics begins uploading pending audio files.
A progress indicator shows the current upload status.
You’ll see a green Synced badge when everything is safely stored in the cloud.
3. Managing Pending Uploads
Open the session panel to view items waiting to upload.
Click Retry to manually trigger an upload if needed.
Hover over the progress bar to see detailed status or any errors.
4. Best Practices
Keep the Motics browser tab open until all uploads are complete.
Check the sync status before closing your laptop or logging out.
If you need to shut down, wait for the green Synced badge first.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
I recorded offline but don’t see any uploads?
Make sure you reopened the same browser profile on the same machine—local files are stored per browser.
The Offline indicator never appeared, but my wifi was down.
Motics checks connectivity every few seconds; refresh the page if the indicator doesn’t update.
Upload stuck at 99%?
Click Retry. If the issue persists, contact us via chat.
