Cannot find the Nookal API key?
In Nookal, go to Setup > Integrations > API Keys. Select + Add API Key, name it Motics, choose the correct clinic location, enable access for Clinical Notes, set the key status to Enabled, then save and copy the key.
Paste the key into Motics under Settings > Integrations > Nookal. Also confirm the Nookal region in Motics matches your Nookal site: AU/NZ, EU, or US.
If you cannot see API Keys or cannot create a key in Nookal, ask a Nookal admin or practice owner to create it or grant access.
OS migration note for Cliniko and Nookal users
During the Motics OS migration, some Cliniko and Nookal integrations need to be reconnected with the clinic's API key. This is expected and does not mean your Motics account, sessions, notes, or EHR data have been deleted.
If Motics shows an authentication error, missing credentials, disabled integration, or asks you to reconnect Cliniko or Nookal, go to Settings > Integrations, open the relevant integration, re-enter or verify the API key, save the connection, then retry the push.
