Motics OS Overview

What Motics OS is, what changed, and where to find common areas.

Written by Dr. Harvinder Power

Overview

Motics OS is the updated Motics workspace. It brings your clinical documentation tools, settings, integrations, credits, billing, and help into a clearer left-hand navigation.

It is not a separate product you need to sign up for again. Use the same Motics account unless your organisation has told you otherwise.

What has changed?

  • The main navigation has moved into a left rail.

  • Clinical note creation sits inside Scribe Agent.

  • Settings, integrations, billing, usage credits, team access, security, letterheads, and profile settings are grouped under Settings.

  • Some organisations may see additional enabled tools, depending on rollout, plan, and permissions.

What has not changed?

  • Your Motics login stays the same.

  • Your previous sessions, notes, templates, and settings should still be available.

  • You can still record, transcribe, generate notes, edit outputs, copy text, download DOCX files, and push to supported EHRs where configured.

  • Clinical notes should still be reviewed before saving, sending, or pushing to an EHR.

Common paths

  • Start a clinical note: Scribe Agent > New Session.

  • Find previous sessions: Scribe Agent > History.

  • Manage templates: Scribe Agent > Templates.

  • Manage integrations: Settings > Integrations.

  • Manage billing: Settings > Billing.

  • View credits: Settings > Usage Credits.

  • Manage team members: Settings > Team.

  • Update your signature or profile: Profile.

If you cannot see something

Some tools and actions depend on your organisation rollout, your role, email verification, credits, and feature access. If an option is hidden or locked, ask your organisation owner/admin or contact Motics support.

Cliniko and Nookal after the OS migration

Some Cliniko and Nookal integrations need to be reconnected after the OS migration. If patient search, note push, or authentication fails, go to Settings > Integrations and re-enter or verify the API key. This is expected for some users and does not mean your notes or EHR data have been deleted.
