The Meals tab recipe library is built by our in-house nutrition team and a rotating group of recipe developers, dietitians, and creators we love — some names and faces you might already recognize. Every recipe, whether it comes from our team or a guest contributor, is reviewed against Heather and Courtney's nutrition standards before it makes it into the library, so you can trust what's in there no matter who made it.
The Moves Nutrition Team
Heather Pavlik — Moves Registered Dietitian
Heather designed the overall nutrition philosophy behind Moves Plus. A former athlete, home cook, and new mom, she built this system knowing the hard part isn't knowing what to eat — it's having the tools to actually make it happen. Her approach is practical, flexible, and genuinely enjoyable. Fan favorites include her Tamale Pie, Lasagna Soup, Shrimp Wonton Soup, and Acai Bowl.
Courtney Rushing — Moves Nutritionist
Courtney brings seven years of coaching women through evidence-based nutrition and sustainable habits, with specialized training in perimenopause and menopause. Her philosophy: no deprivation, no eliminating food groups, no restrictive rules — just real education and a balanced approach you can actually keep up with. Try her Feta Orzo Salmon Bake, Creamy Tuscan Chicken & White Bean Skillet, Sesame Soy Steak with Cucumber Salad & Rice, or Moroccan Stuffed Eggplant to taste it for yourself.
Jenni Cianci — Recipe Developer
Jenni is a professionally trained chef with years of experience in fine dining kitchens, and she's also a longtime Moves member herself. She loves reimagining the comfort food classics we all crave — think Big Mac Tacos, Pepperoni Pizza, and Chicken Parm Bake — into high-protein, macro-friendly versions that don't skimp on flavor. If it still tastes like the real thing, she's done her job.
Rosa Majholm — Recipe Developer
Rosa has a gift for vegetarian and simple, no-fuss recipes — the kind that come together with minimal steps but still deliver on flavor. Fan favorites include her Fresh Shrimp Spring Rolls, Honey Soy Shrimp & Broccoli, and Chewy Oat Protein Bars. She brings a nutrition-first eye to everything she makes, balancing real flavor with what actually fits into a realistic day of eating.
