Understand what happens after you send your kit to MPB – from final quote to fast, secure payment

After MPB receives your kit

Once MPB has received your kit:

  • We’ll begin the evaluation process.

  • When it’s complete, you’ll receive your final quote.

  • You can choose to accept or decline the quote.

  • If anything has changed from your original quote, we’ll provide a detailed breakdown

Your confirmation email will include a secure link where you can:

  • View your updated quote

  • Arrange your payment

  • Confirm your delivery details

Payment Information

You’ll receive a confirmation email with a secure link to enter your payment details.

Follow the instructions in the link to:

  • Provide your billing address

  • Add your delivery address (if applicable)

  • Enter your payment information

If it’s a trade-in with a remaining balance to pay, you’ll be prompted to complete the balance during this step.

Important: Please ensure your payment details are correct and up-to-date

If you’re having trouble adding your BACS details, please try entering this information without a hyphen ‘-’

Accepted Payment Options

Payments from MPB can be arranged through the following:

  • BACS - For payments to UK bank accounts

  • SWIFT/IBAN - For international payments

When do I know that I have been paid?

Once your details are entered and confirmed, we’ll send you an email as soon as your payment has been successfully made.

How long does it take to receive payment?

Payments can take up to two working days to clear into your bank account.

A working day is Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Unquoted Items and Cancellations

If any items on your quote aren’t accepted, or if you choose to cancel during the checking process:

  • We’ll send you a confirmation email with a secure link to enter your delivery details.

  • These items will be returned to you free of charge.

Payments and Quotes

When do I enter my payment details?

Once your transaction has been received and processed, you’ll get a confirmation email with a secure link to enter your payment details.

Do I have to accept the final quote?

It’s completely up to you.

  • To accept, follow the steps in your confirmation email.

  • To decline, contact our team and we’ll help sort it for you.

Fees and Payment Options

Are there any fees to sell or trade with MPB?

No. Selling or trading with MPB is free. We also cover a fully insured collection.

Do you offer more if I trade instead of sell?

We never offer different prices, regardless of whether you sell to MPB or trade-in. MPB Re.Value provides the real-time price for buyers and sellers.

Can I be paid via cheque, CashApp or PayPal?

No. We only make payments via secure bank transfer:

  • BACS for UK accounts

  • SWIFT or IBAN for international accounts

Do you offer in-store credit?

No. If you're trading in, the value of your kit is offset against the item you want to buy.

If you're selling, we’ll pay you directly into your bank account.

Security and Payment Details

Is payment secure?

Yes. You’ll receive a secure link in your confirmation email to enter your details safely on our website.

Do you keep payment details after a transaction?

No. We delete all payment details once your transaction is completed to keep your information secure.

Payment Issues and Troubleshooting

What happens if there’s a problem with my payment?

If something goes wrong, such as missing details or a failed payment, we’ll contact you by email to confirm or update your information.

My payment details aren’t being accepted. What should I do?

  • Make sure your details are correct and match your billing address.

  • UK customers: remove any hyphens from your sort code (for example, enter 123456 instead of 12-34-56).

When to Expect Payment

Why haven’t I received my funds yet?

Payments can take up to two working days to clear into your account.

What’s a working day?

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays.

If it’s been more than two working days since your confirmation email, please contact our team and we’ll be happy to help.
