When you cook food for multiple people or a large portion for several meals, the key is to log the total recipe once, then use servings to track only the portion you ate.
This inaccuracy usually happens when the serving size eaten is set directly inside the recipe window, which is not the correct method:
Here’s how to correct this:
Create the recipe with all ingredients and total calories.
Set the recipe to the total number of servings it makes.
Go to your meal log page, tap the plus icon next to your recipe, and adjust the servings eaten in the little grey window:
If servings are adjusted at the meal logging stage rather than inside the recipe itself, the calorie count will be accurate.
