Our app offers several convenient ways to log your meals. For each method, the app automatically calculates the calories, protein, fat, and carbohydrate values, and you can adjust portion sizes as needed.
Here are some helpful recommendations for food logging:
For branded products, it’s best to start with the Barcode or Label Scanning options by tapping the camera icon 📷.
For non-branded products or home-cooked meals, AI recognition tool or creating a Custom Recipe work best. To create your own recipes, simply tap "New Recipe" below the search bar:
You can also type a meal description in the search bar and tap the star icon ⭐. The AI-powered recognition tool automatically records ingredient lists along with calculated calories, protein, carbohydrate, and fat content. You can easily adjust portion sizes, add missing ingredients, or remove unnecessary ones.
Then you can convert this meal into a recipe by tapping the "Create Recipe" in the footer menu:
This tool is especially helpful for logging common products (like milk, eggs, vegetables) or when searching in a language other than English (for example "chicken" in French):
If a specific product of a certain brand isn’t available in the database, use the New Food option to add it yourself. You can scan the label for automatic entry or enter nutrition information manually. Your custom foods will be saved in My Food section for future use:
For restaurant meals, AI photo recognition or Quick Add options are most effective, especially if you need a one-time entry and have an approximate number of calories:
