Employee Account Security Best Practices

Learn how to keep Employee Accounts secure by using individual logins, strong passwords, and properly managing employee access.

mployee Accounts allow members of your team to access AccelerList without sharing the main account owner's login credentials. Following a few simple security practices can help protect your account and business information.

Give Each Employee Their Own Account

Avoid having multiple employees share the same login information.

Each employee should use their own Employee Account so access can be managed individually.

Don't Share the Main Account Password

The main AccelerList account credentials should remain with the account owner or authorized administrator.

Employees who need access should be provided with their own Employee Accounts instead.

Use Strong Passwords

Employees should use passwords that are difficult for others to guess and should avoid using the same password they use for other services.

Passwords should also never be shared between employees.

Review Employee Access Regularly

Periodically review your Employee Accounts and make sure that only employees who currently need access still have active accounts.

If an employee's responsibilities change, review their account access and make any necessary adjustments.

Remove Access When an Employee Leaves

If an employee leaves your business or no longer needs AccelerList, remove or deactivate their Employee Account as soon as possible.

This helps prevent former employees from continuing to access your AccelerList workspace.

Keep Login Information Private

Employees should avoid sharing passwords through unsecured messages or leaving login information where other people can see it.

If you believe an Employee Account may have been compromised, change or reset the password and review the account's access.
