The AccelerList Orders tab can display Amazon orders that are fulfilled in different ways. Understanding whether an order is FBA or Merchant Fulfilled (MF) can help you determine who is responsible for shipping the order.
What Is an FBA Order?
FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) means the inventory is stored at an Amazon fulfillment center and Amazon handles the fulfillment process.
When a customer purchases an FBA item, Amazon is responsible for picking, packing, and shipping the order.
What Is a Merchant-Fulfilled Order?
A Merchant-Fulfilled (MF) order means the seller is responsible for fulfilling the order instead of Amazon.
For these orders, you will need to prepare and ship the item according to the order requirements.
How They Appear in the Orders Tab
When reviewing your orders in AccelerList, check the fulfillment information associated with the order. This can help you determine whether it is being handled through FBA or by the Merchant.
Understanding the fulfillment method is especially important when reviewing orders that still require action.
Why Does the Fulfillment Method Matter?
Knowing the fulfillment method helps you determine whether you need to ship the order yourself or whether Amazon is handling fulfillment.
If an order appears to have the wrong fulfillment information, compare it with the order in Amazon Seller Central. If the information continues to differ, contact AccelerList Support.
