Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) allows sellers to use inventory stored with Amazon to fulfill orders received through other sales channels, such as eBay.
This allows an eBay customer to place an order while Amazon handles the physical fulfillment of the item.
How the Process Works
When an eligible eBay order is fulfilled through Amazon MCF, the general process is:
Customer places order on eBay → Order is sent for MCF fulfillment → Amazon processes and ships the item → Shipment and tracking information becomes available → Order information is updated
This allows sellers to use their Amazon fulfillment inventory for orders generated outside Amazon.
Tracking Information
Once Amazon ships the MCF order and tracking information becomes available, that information can be used to update the corresponding eBay order.
This is important because eBay uses shipment and tracking information to determine whether an order was shipped on time.
Handling-Time Settings
AccelerList includes an eBay setting that can help prevent FBA/MCF orders from exceeding their handling time by marking eligible orders as shipped based on the configured timeframe.
Make sure your handling-time settings reflect the amount of time you want to allow for fulfillment.
What If Tracking Doesn't Update?
If tracking is not available within the configured timeframe, you may need to manually update the tracking information on eBay once it becomes available.
If Amazon provided tracking within the expected timeframe but it still did not reach the eBay order, contact AccelerList Support with the eBay order number, tracking number, and relevant dates.
