Why Aren’t My Preset Settings Applying to My Batch?

Learn what to check when your saved Preset settings aren't applying as expected to an AccelerList batch, including preset selection, batch settings, and workflow configuration.

Presets in AccelerList help save time by allowing you to reuse your preferred listing settings when creating batches. If your batch doesn't appear to be using the settings you expected, there are a few things you can check.

1. Confirm the Correct Preset Was Selected

First, make sure you selected the intended preset for the batch.

If you have multiple presets, it's easy to accidentally choose a different one. Review the Preset tab in your batch and compare the selected settings with the preset you intended to use.

2. Check the Preset Settings

Review the preset itself to make sure it contains the settings you expect.

If the preset was previously edited or updated, its current configuration may be different from what you remember.

3. Check for Changes Made Within the Batch

Review the settings currently displayed in the batch. If a setting was changed after the preset was selected, the batch may no longer match the original preset configuration.

Compare the settings in the Preset tab with your saved preset to identify any differences.

4. Review the Workflow Tab

Some listing behavior may be controlled by your Workflow settings rather than your Preset settings.

If the issue relates to how items are processed while listing, review the Workflow tab as well. A workflow setting may be responsible for the behavior you're seeing.

5. Try Creating a New Batch

If you're unsure whether your preset is working correctly, create a new test batch and select the preset again.

Before adding any inventory, review the Preset and Workflow tabs to confirm that the expected settings are present.

This can help determine whether the issue is specific to an existing batch or the preset itself.

Still Not Working?

If your preset settings still aren't applying as expected, contact AccelerList Support. Let us know:

  • The name of the preset you're using

  • Which settings you expected to apply

  • Which settings are actually appearing in the batch

  • Whether the issue happens with one batch or every new batch

Screenshots of the preset and the affected batch can also help us investigate the issue more quickly.
