If your FBA shipment has already left your facility but the tracking information isn't changing, it doesn't always mean that the shipment is lost.
There are several things you can check before taking further action.
1. Check the Carrier's Tracking
Use the shipment's tracking number to check the carrier's own tracking system.
The carrier may have newer information than what's currently displayed in the Amazon shipment workflow.
2. Confirm the Tracking Number
Make sure the tracking number associated with the shipment is correct.
This is particularly important when using a non-partnered carrier or when tracking information has been entered manually.
3. Allow Time for the First Carrier Scan
A shipping label being created doesn't necessarily mean the carrier has scanned the package.
Tracking may not begin updating until the carrier physically receives and scans the shipment.
4. Check for Carrier Delays
Tracking updates can sometimes be delayed while a shipment is moving between facilities. Weekends, holidays, severe weather, and other carrier disruptions can also affect shipment movement.
5. Check Seller Central
Review the shipment directly in Seller Central to see whether Amazon has received any additional shipment or delivery information.
6. Contact the Carrier When Necessary
If tracking hasn't changed for an unusually long period, contact the carrier using the tracking number to determine whether additional information is available.
Important
If the carrier shows the shipment as Delivered but Amazon hasn't started receiving the inventory, you're dealing with a different stage of the process. Delivery to the fulfillment center does not necessarily mean the inventory will immediately become available.
