How Rapid Scanning Uses Your Batch Settings

Explains how your configured batch settings work with Rapid Scanning and why reviewing those settings before you begin is important.

Your Batch Settings Control the Workflow

Rapid Scanning is intended to reduce repetitive work while listing. Instead of configuring the same options every time you scan a product, AccelerList uses the applicable settings you've already selected for your batch.

This is why it's important to configure your batch correctly before starting a Rapid Scanning session.

Settings to Review

Depending on your batch and workflow, review applicable settings such as:

  • Fulfillment method

  • Condition

  • Pricing preferences

  • Supplier or scout

  • Quantity

  • Listing preferences

  • Label and printing options

Why This Matters

Rapid Scanning allows you to process items quickly, but that also means an incorrect batch setting could affect multiple items before you notice it.

For example, if you selected the wrong condition or fulfillment method when setting up your batch, you may need to correct the affected listings later.

Before You Start

Process one test item first and check that the resulting listing information matches what you expected.

Once you've confirmed that your batch is configured correctly, you can continue with the rest of your inventory.
