What Does “Not Working” Mean?
Rapid Scanning can involve several parts of the listing process, so first identify where the problem occurs.
For example:
Nothing happens when you scan.
The barcode appears, but no product is found.
The wrong product appears.
The product is found but isn't added to the batch.
The item is added but the label doesn't print.
Check Your Scanner
Scan an item and confirm that the ISBN or UPC appears correctly on your screen. If no numbers appear, check your scanner connection and settings.
You can also manually enter an ISBN or UPC to determine whether the issue is with the scanner or the product lookup.
Check Your Amazon Connection
Rapid Scanning relies on product information from Amazon. Make sure your Amazon account is still properly connected to AccelerList.
Also check Seller Central for any account warnings or issues that could affect your Amazon account.
Check Your Marketplace
Make sure you're listing in the intended Amazon marketplace. A product available in one marketplace may not necessarily return the same catalog result in another.
Check Your Batch
Verify that you're working in the correct batch and review its settings before continuing. Incorrect batch or workflow settings can affect how products are processed.
Check Your Printer Separately
If products are being found and successfully added but labels aren't printing, Rapid Scanning itself may be working correctly. Troubleshoot the printer and label configuration separately.
Still Having Trouble?
If Rapid Scanning continues to fail, contact AccelerList Support and provide as much information as possible, including:
ISBN, UPC, or ASIN examples
The Amazon marketplace you're using
What happens after scanning
Any error message displayed
Whether manually searching for the product works
Whether the issue affects one item or every item
Screenshots or a short screen recording can also help identify where the Rapid Scanning workflow is failing.
