Updated over a week ago

In rare cases where the Amazon or eBay API doesn’t sync properly, you may need to manually add the tracking number to avoid late shipment defects on your eBay account.

Steps:

1. Go to Amazon Seller Central

  • Navigate to Orders → Manage Orders

2. Filter for Non-Amazon Orders

  • On the left side, select Non-Amazon under Sales Channel

  • Find the order you want to update

3. Open Order Details

  • Click the Order ID (blue link) for the selected order

4. Get the Tracking Number

  • Go to the Shipments tab

  • Locate the Tracking Number and Carrier (e.g., UPS, USPS)

  • Copy the tracking number

5. Go to eBay Seller Hub

  • Navigate to Orders → Awaiting Shipment

6. Add Tracking to eBay

  • Find the corresponding order

  • Click Add Tracking (or mark as shipped)

  • Paste the tracking number

  • Select the correct carrier

  • Submit the update

Important Notes:

  • This step ensures your eBay order is marked as shipped on time

  • Helps avoid late shipment defects and protects your seller performance

  • Normally this process is automatic, but manual updates may be needed if syncing fails

One-line summary:

Manually updating tracking ensures your eBay orders stay compliant when automatic syncing between Amazon and eBay doesn’t complete successfully.
