If you’ve tried to submit a claim but can’t access the claim submission feature, don’t worry! There’s a common reason this happens, especially at the start of a new allocation window. Here's a breakdown of what might be causing the issue and how to fix it.
Why Can’t I Submit My Claim?
During the allocation window, if you haven’t allocated your new funds yet, your claim submission feature may be temporarily disabled. This happens because your benefits plan requires you to allocate your balance before submitting new claims for the year.
How to Fix It
To regain access to the claim submission feature, follow these steps:
Log into Your Account: Start by logging into your benefits portal.
Locate the Allocation Tab: On your dashboard, look for an orange button labeled “Re-allocate Balance” or navigate to the Allocation tab.
Complete the Allocation Process: Follow the prompts to allocate your new funds.
Once your funds are allocated, the claim submission feature will be unlocked, allowing you to submit claims for both the new year and the previous year.
Important Notes
If you need to submit claims for the previous year, you can use your previous year’s balance without locking in your allocation. Just make sure you’ve completed your allocation process to unlock this feature.
If you’ve already submitted a claim for the current year using your new balance, reallocation is no longer possible.
Taking a few moments to complete your allocation ensures that your benefits plan operates smoothly and that you can submit your claims without delays.
