Asthma inhalers and spacer chambers are eligible for reimbursement under your Health Savings Account (HSA), subject to certain conditions:

  1. Prescription Requirement: To qualify for HSA reimbursement, inhalers and chambers must be accompanied by an official prescription receipt. Here's what that looks like!

  2. Verification: Always check your personal list of covered items in your HSA dashboard to confirm eligibility. Inhalers are typically listed under the "Medicines" category.

  3. Questions or Concerns: If you have any questions about the eligibility of your inhaler or chamber, please don't hesitate to contact us:

    • Live Chat: Available through our website

โ€‹*Sometimes the chambers are not included on the prescription, but are sold by the pharmacist with the inhaler to help with the administration of the inhaler. In these cases, as long as it's claimed with the cost of the inhaler itself, it is an eligible expense.

Remember, while we strive to provide accurate information, HSA regulations can change. It's always best to verify current eligibility before making a purchase.
