We understand that sometimes the name on your receipts or invoices may not match the name on your myHSA profile. This can happen for various reasons, such as using different aliases, preferred names, or legal names in different contexts. To ensure smooth processing of your claims, we've outlined a simple process to address this issue:

Update Your Profile

If you notice a name mismatch, please update your myHSA profile to include both names:

a) Navigate to the "Settings" tab
b) Click "Edit"
c) Modify your name by entering your preferred name first, followed by any aliases in parentheses Example: Dani (Danielle)
d) Click "Save" to confirm the changes

For Pending Claims

If you have a claim that's pending due to a name discrepancy, first follow the above steps to include your preferred name. Then:

a) Go to "View Claims"
b) Click "Edit" next to the relevant claim
c) Leave a note in the memo section for the adjudicator, informing them that you've updated your profile
d) Your claim should be approved shortly after this update

By following these steps, you'll help us verify your eligibility more efficiently and ensure faster processing of your claims.
