Downloading & Viewing Tile Data

The Operational Analytics dashboards allow you to export data directly from any tile in multiple formats. Below is a guide on how to download tile data and use the drill-down feature where available.

Downloading Data from a Tile

To download data from any tile:

  1. Hover over the tile and click the three-dot menu (โ‹ฎ) in the top-right corner of the tile.

  2. Select Download data from the dropdown menu.

  4. Click Download.

Available download formats:

  • TXT (tab-separated values)

  • Excel Spreadsheet (Excel 2007 or later)

  • CSV

  • JSON

  • HTML

  • Markdown

  • PNG (Image of Visualization)

Advanced Data Options

When downloading, you can expand the Advanced data options section to customize your export:

  • Results

    • With visualizations options applied โ€” Downloads data as it appears in the chart/table view.

    • As displayed in the data table โ€” Downloads the raw underlying data table.

  • Data values

    • Formatted โ€” Includes formatting such as number rounding and special characters.

Drill-Down & Viewing Underlying Data

Some tiles support a drill-down feature, which allows you to click on a bar, slice, or data point within a chart to view the underlying row-level data in a detailed table.

Once the drill-down table opens, you can:

  • Review the detailed records directly in the modal.

  • Click the Download button in the top-right corner of the modal to export the drill-down data.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: The default data display limit in drill-down tables is 500 rows. To download the complete dataset beyond this limit, open Advanced Data Options in the download dialog and select All Results.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: Not every tile has the drill-down feature. It is only available on tiles where the data points are interactive (e.g., bar charts, pie chart slices). If a tile does not support drill-down, clicking on it will not open a detail table.
