Before You Begin
Connecting your Etsy Shop to Logiwa is entirely self-service. You'll do everything — navigating to the connection screen, authorizing access, and choosing your Warehouse, Client, Order Type, and UOM — directly within Logiwa and Etsy's own screens. There's nothing you need to send to Logiwa in advance.
⚠️ Production access only: This integration connects to your live Etsy Shop. There is no sandbox/test environment, so plan your go-live testing (see the Go-Live checklist below) with that in mind.
Connect Etsy in Logiwa
Start the Connection
Log in to Logiwa and navigate to Integrations > Store and Marketplace.
Find Etsy from the list of available integrations and click Connect.
Integration Management: locate Etsy among the available Store and Marketplace integrations and click Connect Now.

Authorize Etsy
After clicking Install, you'll see Connect to Etsy — click it, and you'll be redirected to Etsy's official login page.
Log in using your Etsy seller account credentials.
Etsy's official OAuth sign-in screen.
Review the permissions requested on the consent screen and approve access.
You'll be redirected back to Logiwa, where a confirmation message shows the connection is complete.
Operational Rules & Edge Cases
To prevent fulfillment delays and listing discrepancies, review these operational business rules.
Inventory Sent to Etsy Is "Available to Sell," Not Total On-Hand
To protect you from overselling, Logiwa sends the Available to Sell quantity to Etsy, not the total physical On-Hand count.
How it's calculated:
Available to Sell = Physical On-Hand Quantity − Open Sales Order Commitments
💡 Why this matters: This ensures that inventory already reserved for other customers is never listed as available on Etsy. You can confirm these numbers yourself in the Logiwa UI by navigating to Reports > Inventory > Available to Promise (ATP).
Carrier Names Must Be Recognized by Etsy
The carrier used on a shipment must match one of Etsy's supported carrier values. If your carrier isn't recognized by Etsy, the integration automatically sends the carrier as "Other" rather than failing the update.
⚠️ Sending an arbitrary or unmapped carrier name instead of relying on this fallback may cause Etsy to reject the request.
Etsy Manages Inventory at the Variant Level
Etsy requires every stock update to include the complete set of variants for a listing, not just the one that changed. Logiwa handles this automatically as part of Inventory Synchronization, but it means an inventory update can fail if the full variant structure for a listing isn't available (see Error Handling below).
Business-Rule & Data-Content Errors Are the Shop Owner's Responsibility
Logiwa's error handling automatically captures and logs system-level issues, such as a formatting or transmission failure. However, errors related to business rules or the content of the data itself — for example, missing product information or incorrect order details — are reported back to you, and resolving them is the Shop Owner's responsibility.
Integration Flows & Field Mappings
ℹ️ Reading these tables: Fields shown in parentheses are technical Etsy or Logiwa field names used by the system. The text before the parentheses is the everyday, user-facing label.
Order Download (Etsy → Logiwa)
Cadence & Trigger: Scheduled automation running every 10 minutes. Logiwa pulls newly paid, unshipped orders.
Business Rules: New, confirmed orders are automatically brought into Logiwa, ready for your warehouse team to pick, pack, and ship — no manual entry required.

Send Shipment Info (Logiwa → Etsy)
Cadence & Trigger: Scheduled automation running every 15 minutes, once an order's status changes to Shipped in Logiwa.
Business Rules: Once an order has shipped from your warehouse, Logiwa automatically sends the shipment details to Etsy. This updates the order status on your storefront and provides your customer with tracking information.

Inventory Synchronization (Logiwa → Etsy)
Cadence & Trigger: Scheduled sync running every 10 minutes.
Business Rules: Updates your Etsy listings to reflect current stock levels. The quantity sent is Available to Sell, not total On-Hand. Because Etsy manages quantity at the variant level, each update includes the listing's complete variant structure.

Log Access & Support
Error Classifications & Diagnostics
Error Type | Common Causes | System Behavior |
API Connection Failures | Expired OAuth token or invalid API key. | The issue is logged automatically with the error details, and an error email is sent. You may need to re-authorize the connection (see Connect Etsy in Logiwa above). |
Inbound Errors (Etsy → Logiwa) | Missing required details (such as SKU or shipping address), an unknown SKU that doesn't exist in Logiwa's product catalog, or a duplicate order already received and processed. | The order is rejected automatically, flagged for manual review, and an error email is sent with details about the issue. |
Outbound Errors (Logiwa → Etsy) | Missing required details (such as a tracking code or carrier name), Etsy rejecting the update due to invalid data, or an inventory update failing because the full variant list wasn't sent. | The update is skipped, flagged with an error, and the details are logged and emailed to you. |
Every system event captures the following diagnostic markers (where applicable):
Timestamp
API Endpoint
Status (Success / Failed)
HTTP Status Code
Error Description / API Response Body
💡 Note on Log Access: Processing logs are not accessible via the Logiwa user interface dashboard, though log details for specific transactions can be shared upon request. All troubleshooting inquiries must be directed to the Support team by opening a ticket through HubSpot.
Flow-Specific Error Scenarios
Flow | Example Error Scenario | System Behavior |
Order Download | Line Item SKU not found in Logiwa's product catalog. | Order is rejected; other orders in the batch continue processing; error notification email is sent. |
Send Shipment Info | Tracking code or carrier name missing. | Shipment update is skipped and flagged; error notification email is sent. |
Inventory Synchronization | Full variant structure for the listing could not be retrieved. | Inventory update is not posted; error is logged. |
Product Synchronization | A required product field (e.g., SKU) is missing or invalid. | Product is not created or updated; error is logged. |
ℹ️ When opening a support ticket, include: your Etsy Shop Name; the time of the error; the Etsy Receipt ID (if applicable); the subject line of the error email; and any error message shown in the email.
Operational Best Practices
Maintain Exact SKU Alignment: Ensure product SKUs match exactly between Etsy and Logiwa before activating synchronization flows.
Keep Your Etsy Authorization Active: If your Etsy password changes or the connection is revoked from Etsy's side, you'll need to repeat the authorization.
Confirm Carrier Behavior: Remember that an unrecognized carrier is sent to Etsy as "Other" rather than blocking the update — review shipments periodically to confirm tracking is displaying as expected.
Monitor Inventory Buffer Expectations: Etsy reflects your Available to Sell quantity roughly every 10 minutes, so there is a brief window between a sale elsewhere and the listing quantity updating on Etsy.
Go-Live Test Checklist (UAT)
⚠️ Testing runs against your live Etsy Shop: This integration does not use an Etsy sandbox environment, so the UAT steps below run against your live shop. To avoid leaving test data in your live store, use clearly-labeled test listings where possible, and remove or end the test listing once UAT is complete.
Test Order Download
In Etsy, place a test order for a test listing (or a low-value item you're comfortable testing with).
Wait 10 minutes.
Confirm the order appears in Logiwa with the correct customer, SKU, and quantity.
Expected Result: Order appears in Logiwa as a shipment order.
Test Send Shipment Info
In Logiwa, complete the test shipment order (mark as Shipped) with a valid tracking number and carrier.
Wait 15 minutes.
In Etsy, confirm the order shows the Shipped status along with the correct carrier and tracking number.
Expected Result: Etsy order is automatically updated with tracking details.
Test Inventory Synchronization
In Logiwa, confirm the Available to Promise (ATP) quantity for the test SKU.
Wait 10 minutes for the scheduled sync to run.
In Etsy, confirm the listing quantity matches the ATP quantity from Logiwa.
Expected Result: Etsy listing quantity reflects the Available to Sell quantity from Logiwa.
Test Product Synchronization
In Etsy, create or update a test listing.
Wait 15 minutes.
Confirm the product appears in Logiwa with the correct SKU, title, and price.
Expected Result: Product appears (or updates) in Logiwa.
💡 If any test fails, refer to the Flow-Specific Error Scenarios above. If the issue persists, open a support ticket with the details listed in that section.
Known Limitations
Business-Rule & Content Errors: Errors related to missing or incorrect product/order data are reported to the Shop Owner for resolution; they are not automatically corrected by the integration.
Carrier Mapping: Etsy only accepts carrier names from its own supported list. Carriers outside that list are sent as "Other" rather than the actual carrier name.
Log Access: Currently not available via the Logiwa UI. All diagnostics require a support ticket through HubSpot.
