To define user's permissions within the system, you need to define roles first. Each role will be included specific permissions. When you assign those roles to uses, every user will have their own specific permissions in the system.

In this article, we'll explain how you can assign or unassing roles from users.

1. Open your Users & Roles screen


Go to Settings -> Users & Roles screen.

On this screen by hovering the Manage User Roles button (a pencil shape button), the Manage User Roles sidebar will open.

2. Assign a role to a user

Let's assume that you want to assign a reporter role to this user. Just select this role on the sidebar and click the Add Role button. After that, your role will assign successfully to this user.

On the Users & Roles screen, you can monitor which role is assigned to your user. In the image that you can see below, two roles are assigned to Mario User. Mario has two roles, packer and also a reporter. (He is super busy!)

3. Unassign a role to a user

You can easily unassign a role to a user. On the Users & Roles screen, click the Manage User Roles button again, the sidebar will open. In this sidebar, you can see the delete button for a role. Just click the delete button. It makes an unassigned process for the user. (Mario is happy right now!)
