Pick and Sort is used for picking multi-item orders in bulk and sorting them into totes while picking so that each tote represents one order.

In order to use Pick and Sort screen on the mobile devices/handheld terminals, the mobile cart and tote (LP Type) setup must be done in MyLogiwa account.

  1. The user selects “Picking” on the Homepage

  2. “Pick and Sort” option should be selected

  3. The job list page has two options: “Your Jobs” and “Job Pool”

    1. If the user selects “Your Jobs”, the assigned jobs for this user will be listed

    2. If the user selects “Job Pool”, the jobs that are not assigned to anyone will be listed

  4. The user can select or enter a job code to start picking

  5. The mobile cart that will be used for picking the job should be scanned.
    It is important to:

    1. Have a cart that has enough cells
(Since each cell will contain one order, the number of cells must be greater than or equal to the number of orders)

    2. Have a cart that is NOT occupied
(A mobile cart can contain one job at a time)

  6. On the Location Confirmation screen, the user is expected to scan the location or LP Number that he/she needs to pick from.

  7. The next step is to scan the product shown. SKU, pick quantity, pick from location and the assigned cell for the product will be displayed.

    1. If the product is a lot/expiration date controlled product, the user must enter the correct lot number/expiration date

  8. Then the quantity that the user needs to pick must be entered (or the user scan the products one-by-one until the quantity is reached)

  9. The cell number shown on the screen is the cell that is assigned to the order in the selected job
So the user must scan the tote number in that specific cell in the “Tote” field

    1. Please note that on each cell, there needs to be a unique tote number and the tote must be available (there should not be any free/allocated inventory)

  10. Once the picking task is completed, the user should click/tap on the Confirm Picking button

  11. If there is another product that needs to be picked for another order, another picking screen will be shown

  12. If the picking task is completed for this location/LPN, Location Confirmation screen will be shown with the new location/LPN that the picker needs to visit

  13. Once all picking tasks are completed for this job, a pop-up will be shown to transfer the totes from the mobile cart to a location

    1. OPTION 1:

The user can scan a location (such as Packing Station) and transfer the totes. This will make the mobile cart unoccupied again so that it can be used for another job

    2. OPTION 2:

The user can select “No, keep the totes on the cart” option and the totes can physically stay on the mobile cart

Please note that until all packing tasks are completed for the orders on the mobile cart, the cart will remain Occupied.

  14. Once all picking tasks are completed for the job, the user can go back to the home page or continue picking another job
