An explanation of the ways to view changes that are logged in Logiwa.

This knowledge base article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the changes currently tracked in Logiwa and how to view them. In order to offer you the most accurate information about your data, this Logiwa tracks modifications made to warehouse locations, products, vendors, data, and more.

The Change Log screen is account-based and intended for admin-level users. From a technical standpoint, we are unable to incorporate warehouse-specific and/or client-specific controls, as we do not verify the user's warehouse or client permissions when displaying the logs.

Tracked Changes

At this time, Logiwa tracks changes to the following areas:

  1. Allocation Algorithms

  2. Billing

  3. Client

  4. Location

  5. Location Group in Data Setup

  6. Location Zone in Data Setup

  7. LP Numbers

  8. Pack Type in Data Setup

  9. Printout

  10. Product

  11. Product Group in Data Setup

  12. Purchase Order

  13. Purchase Order Type in Data Setup

  14. Putaway Algorithms

  15. Roles

  16. Shipment Order

  17. Shipment Order Type in Data Setup

  18. Users

  19. VAS Type in Data Setup

  20. Vendor

  21. Warehouse

  22. Wave Rules

  23. Workflow

Changes can be viewed from the Change Log report.


For example, to view the change log for an individual product, navigate to the Products page and select the 3-Dot button for a product. Next, click the Change Log button.

This will open a side-bar that displays the change log for this product.

The change log will include the type, event, time, and source of the change. Each field is explained below:

Type

Type of change (create, delete, update, etc.)

Event

What was changed about the item

Transaction Date

Date and time of the change

Source

Source of the change, including user or automation

Additional fields can be viewed in the Change Log report.

To view the change logs for shipment orders, purchase orders, and bills, click Show Details for the individual item you wish to view, then select Show Change Log.


Change Log Report

The Change Log report tracks every change made across Logiwa in one central location. To access the Change Log report, navigate to the Reports and Analytics section and select Change Log. Alternately, use the search function to search Change Log.

From the Change Log report, you can view the the following information about changes made:

Type

Type of change (create, delete, update, etc.)

Changed Module

Module in Logiwa this change applied to (product, warehouse, location, etc.)

Code

Alphanumeric code/name for object being changed, if applicable

Changed Property

What was changed about the object, if applicable

Changed From

Original value/trait of the object that was changed, if applicable

Changed To

New value/trait of the object, if applicable

Transaction Date

Date and time of the change

Source

Source of the change, including user or automation
