Manually creating shipment order can quickly become a laborious and time-consuming task, particularly when dealing with large quantities of orders. Logiwa's Auto Code Generation feature eliminates this issue by automatically creating order codes. Just follow the guide below to set up this convenient tool.

Step-by-Step Guide

  • To begin, navigate to the Data Setup screen.

  • Select Auto Code Generation Preferences from the left sidebar.

  • This feature is enabled when Auto generate order codes as is highlighted. It is disabled when Keep adding codes manually each time is selected.

  • To use this feature, set the Prefix and Code.

  • Prefix is the label which qualifies the shipment order, while the code serves as a counter.

    • Example: If you set the Prefix as SO and the Code as 0000, then when you manually create a new shipment order from scratch, the shipment order code will be set as SO0000.

    • If every number that could be covered by the code has been used, an extra decimal will be added to the beginning of the code to proceed.

  • You can now create a shipment order from the Shipment Order screen to test the order code. If the auto-generation feature is on, when you create an order by manual, it will be highlighted with the Auto Generated label.

    • Note that you are still allowed to enter manual values to Order Code field here if needed.

Reminder: if you do not wish to use this feature, select Keep adding codes manually each time to disable it and Save your preference.
