Do you need more efficient putaway strategies for your fulfillment center? The Logiwa mobile app can suggest putaway locations to optimize your operations, ensuring that your fulfillment specialists will always know where to send products. This article will guide you through the process of using suggested putaway locations during the receiving process.
Step-by-Step Guide
First, navigate to Receiving screen from the main screen.
Enable the Suggest Putaway Location toggle.
Scan or enter the PO Code that will be received into the PO / Vendor field.
You can proceed with either of two options:
Scan or Enter PO by entering the Purchase Order Code
Search & Select PO by entering the Purchase Order Code and/or Vendor information.
Whichever option you choose, the Select Receiving Type menu will open.
You can choose Receive LP on Parent LP, Receive on LP, or Receive to Location. This article will use Receive to Location for the example.
Select Product/Product Putaway
Scan or enter the product(s) being received.
Once receiving is completed, the Suggest Location and the quantity being put away will be displayed.
If the suggested location is not acceptable, click Suggest Another to see alternative suggestions. If none is available, the system will display "Suitable location not found."
Click Putaway to complete the putaway process for the selected location.
