How is it useful?

This report is essential for:

  • Tracking the inventory levels of components used in kit products.

  • Identifying reorder requirements to prevent stockouts.

  • Ensuring the availability of components for assembling kit products.

  • Optimizing inventory management by monitoring component demand and supply.

How does it work?

The Kit Component Inventory Availability Report compiles data on component products, offering insights into their inventory status.

This report includes key fields that track component details, demand, and availability. It helps in determining the total quantity of components required based on open sales orders and the inventory on hand.

The report calculates the available inventory by considering both current stock levels and demand from open orders. Additionally, it identifies the reorder quantity needed to maintain sufficient inventory levels, ensuring components are available for assembling kits and preventing stockouts.
