Does Nearo record sessions?

Nearo does not record video, audio, screen sharing, or remote control activity by default.

When you use Nearo for a live session:

  • Video and audio are transmitted in real time and are not saved.

  • Screen sharing and remote control activity are not captured or stored.

  • Nearo does not provide session replays or automatic recordings.

Audio, video, and screen data are processed only as needed to deliver the live session and are not retained once the session ends.

ℹ️ Nearo’s Privacy Policy explains that media streams are processed transiently to provide the service and are not stored unless a recording feature is explicitly enabled in the future.

Nearo does not enable recording by default.

If a user chooses to record a session using external tools or any optional recording feature that may be introduced:

  • The user is responsible for obtaining any required consent.
