Once your Room is open, you can control who joins, who waits, and when the session ends using the participant icon and session controls.
Admitting a guest
When someone joins your Room, they enter a waiting area. You will see how many people are waiting from the participant icon.
Click the participant icon to view who is waiting.
Select Admit [Name] to let them into the Room.
Select Decline [Name] to remove them from the waiting list without admitting them.
If no one is waiting, you will see No one is waiting and a Copy invite link button you can use to share your Room link with someone new.
Switching between guests
If a guest is already in your Room and another person is waiting, you can switch between them without closing your Room.
Click the participant icon.
Select Admit [Name] for the person who is waiting.
This will end the current guest's session and immediately admit the waiting guest. This is especially useful for back-to-back sessions with different students.
Removing a guest
To disconnect a guest while keeping your Room open:
Click the participant icon.
Select End [Name]'s session.
The guest will be disconnected. Your Room will remain open and available for new guests.
Ending the session for everyone
To close your Room and disconnect all participants:
Click the red phone button.
This ends the session and disconnects everyone in the Room.
